The Macallan Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak is the fourth release in the prestigious Harmony Collection and was created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil to celebrate The Macallan’s 200th anniversary. The edition explores the influence of oak on the whisky’s distinctive character, natural colour and flavour profile.

Vibrant Oak is matured in a combination of first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and refill sherry casks, creating an expressive single malt with key notes of vanilla, lime, sweet oak, apple and toasted almonds. The nose reveals intense vanilla bean, sweet sherbet, lime zest and fragrant pear with delicate vanilla sponge cake. On the palate, creamy vanilla panna cotta, buttery shortbread, lightly toasted coconut, almond brittle, apple and sweet oak develop into a medium, sweet finish with lingering vanilla.

The presentation is equally distinctive: oak chippings, a by-product of The Macallan’s cask-making process, were repurposed for the bottle labels and presentation packaging. The vibrant golden design, created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, reflects the collection’s connection between nature, creativity and craftsmanship.
