The Yamazaki Refill Spanish Oak Limited Release Edition 2026 is a Japanese single malt whisky matured in refill Spanish oak casks. Bottled in 2026 at 48% ABV, it combines spirit distilled in 2014 and 2015, offering a bright, fruity interpretation of Yamazaki’s longstanding relationship with Spanish oak.

Combining lightly and moderately peated malt, this exceptional release displays a luminous amber colour. The nose reveals stewed apricot compote with cloves and nutmeg. On the palate, fresh cherries mingle with dried figs, charred peach and shaved cocoa, creating a rich and layered flavour profile. The finish brings together intense fruity coffee notes and delicate wood smoke.
